The 2015 Ford Escape offers a host of great features for owners to enjoy including great style, a superior performance and a long list of features offered to make any Escape one that is enjoyable to drive. The second engine that is offered for the SE and Titanium models of the Escape comes in the form of a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that offers 178 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. For most Escape owners this is going to be the engine of choice and when mated to the six-speed automatic transmission it offers a fuel efficiency of 23 city/32 hwy mpg for the front-wheel drive model and 22 city/30 hwy mpg for the all-wheel drive version.

The final and power player of an engine that can be found in the SE or Titanium versions of the Escape is the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that brings the power with 240 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque according for Ford Indianapolis. This strong engine is also paired with the same six-speed automatic transmission and offers a fuel efficiency of 22 city/30 hwy mpg for the front-wheel drive model and 21 city/28 hwy mpg for the all-wheel drive version. This powertrain is capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds, enough for plenty of camping gear over a great weekend getaway.

Once inside the Escape the vehicle truly lives up to its name. With the panoramic moonroof and impressive materials and design this small SUV is a getaway from it all type of vehicle. Even though the rear area only offers a small amount of cargo space the folding seat does allow for some great and easy to use configurations. Anyone into technology will absolutely love the MyFordTouch features that allow them to remain connected even while out in the wilderness.

From the outside the Escape offers excellent lines and angles for anyone to enjoy. When opting for a higher trim level on the Escape the front boasts the HID headlights that flank a slim and creative grill that leads up to a sleek hood that transfers easily to a low angled roof. Add body-colored mirrors and dual chrome exhaust ports and the Escape not only appears to be a great looking vehicle but even shows a bit of luxury stylings. Finish off the great looks with the big 19-inche wide-spoked wheels that carry the vehicle in style on and off the road.

The Escape offers a great list of features to enjoy, starting with the S model, the standard features include a six-speaker audio system, air conditioning, cruise control, audio and cruise controls on the steering wheel, the MyKey system, and a full array of airbags and electronic safety features for any owner to enjoy. This allows even the base model of the Escape to be a very enjoyable and well equipped vehicle for those who have to remain a bit budget conscious.

Heading to the fully loaded model of the Escape Titanium comes equipped with four-wheel drive, leather seats, a panoramic moonroof, blind spot warning, automatic parallel parking, an eight-inch touch screen, a navigation system, Sync with MyFord Touch, and a foot-operated liftgate. All of these features allow the Escape in the Titanium trim to compete with the number of features offered on some luxury SUV models and even have more than some of them.

The base model S of the Escape starts just under $24,000 but that is the model that offers the black plastic exterior trim and wheel covers. When moving up to the SE model of the Escape the price moves up to around $26,500 and adds the Sync infotainment system and many other upgrades for owners to enjoy. At the highest level the Titanium model of the Escape comes in over $37,000 which is certainly on the high end of the spectrum for this class of vehicle but well worth all the extras.
