Toyota's Lineup

Sometimes having a lot of options is a good thing, and sometimes it’s a bad thing. There are times when too many choices leave us with a difficult decision because there is too much of a good thing and other times when none of the options are all that great, and were forced to be frustrated with going elsewhere or being satisfied with a mediocre product. When it comes to Toyota’s class of vehicles, there is never going to be the case that you’re left having to choose a lackluster vehicle, as Toyota’s standards are always exceptional.

Six choices may seem like a lot when it comes to choosing a vehicle, especially when choosing between Toyota models, but six is the magic number when it comes to the CUV/SUV market. Toyota manufactures six different models that range from a compact CUV to a full-sized eight-passenger capacity SUV. Depending on your needs, the selection that Toyota offers has something for everyone, and this is one of those instances where too many choices is a good thing. Each model has different attributes that make it unique to each driver’s needs. So, get to a dealership and pick your model.

  • RAV4 – The Toyota RAV4 first showed up on the scene in 1995, and has the distinction of being the first crossover SUV. It offers the higher vantage point of an SUV but gets the gas mileage of your average sedan. The RAV4 is offered in nine different colors, with a starting price of just under $24000. Sleek and aerodynamic on the outside, the interior is roomy enough to easily seat five people comfortably. Every offered convenience in the newest vehicles is available in the RAV4, and each has the option for an all-wheel-drive experience.
  • Venza – The Venza made its first appearance in 2008 when Toyota debuted it at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. 2015 will be the last year this vehicle is produced in the United States but will be available as an export through 2017. The Venza is bigger than the RAV4 but smaller than the next size up and falls easily into the midsize crossover category. Lower to the ground, but wider than the RAV, the Venza features a hugely desirable dual moonroof design.   No matter what you need to carry with you, the Venza offers different configurations to accommodate your needs.
  • Highlander – As the movie claims, there can only be one Highlander, and this is it. The Highlander is also a midsize SUV that we first saw in 2001 in the United States. Featuring a smart design that allows for easy entry and exit without the feeling of having to climb up or down, the Highlander allows for more room between the seat and the roof of the car. With seating for up to eight people, this SUV has ample cargo room as well as seating room. It also has super cool features like a conversation mirror to keep an eye on the kids in the back, optional Blu-ray DVD system, and specialized insulation to keep the sounds of the outside where they belong.
  • 4Runner – For off-road fanatics and daredevils, there is no greater option than the Toyota 4-Runner. Offered since the early 80s, this rough and rugged vehicle is capable of carrying from 5-7 people with the option of a third row. Available in four different trim levels, the Toyota 4Runner offers many different available features to accommodate the desire to take it off the beaten path. The KDSS and Crawl Control systems are meant to keep the best traction no matter where you’re driving, and terrain select allows you to choose between 4 different modes to increase your traction as well.
  • Sequoia – The mighty trees from which this full-sized SUV’s name is derived are known for being some of the largest growing trees in the world. This SUV is made to hold up to eight passengers, and just about any type of cargo you can imagine given the flexible options for storing items. Their line began in 2001 and introduced a larger option for SUVs. Perfect for a large family or carpooling, the Sequoia makes sure that even the passengers in the third row are as comfortable as possible with power reclining seats. With a 7400 pound towing capacity, the Sequoia can not only keep the family comfortable but will effectively haul anything you desire.
  • Land Cruiser – Initially produced as an off-road vehicle in 1951, the Toyota Land Cruiser is Toyota’s oldest and longest running vehicle. These days the Land Cruiser is equipped with a V8 engine and enough terrain technology to easily handle any off-road situation, it is also equipped for maximum comfort. With 12 cup holders, an optional rear entertainment system, and a high-quality sound system, the Land Cruiser will keep your family or your colleagues occupied without issue.

Whether you’re looking for a vehicle that can carry you up the rough side of a mountain or a vehicle that will simply haul a large family in a safe and comfortable fashion, Toyota has something that can handle your needs. With six different options for drivers, they ensure that there is literally, something for everyone.
