Rubicon Trail –California

You’ve heard of the name Rubicon and the name comes from the Rubicon Trail in El Dorado County in California where you can enjoy the amazing toughness of the trail. This trail is considered one of the most challenging off-road courses in North America and it’s technically part of a country road. The Trail is closed to the public in late July and early August, but otherwise, it’s open for you to have the fun you want and challenge your off-road skills.

Moab –Utah

You won’t ever argue about which trail is one of the toughest off-road locations in the US when you take a drive on the Moab Trail. This is certainly one of the most well-known off-road destinations and it’s not only challenging but extremely beautiful. No matter the type of outdoor adventure you love you can experience the fun and amazing drive offered in Moab.

Superlift ORV –Arkansas

Superlift ORV is the only privately-owned off-road park on this list and its full of fun for you to test your off-road skills and bring your outdoor gear for a great time. The park features cabins, RV and tent camping areas, a bath house, and even a crawling course for RC cars to race and compete. This could be the perfect destination in the middle of the country for you to have the off-road fun you’re looking for.

Ouray –Colorado

If you’re looking for one of the most scenic off-road parks in the country, Ouray should be on your list. This park is situated within the San Juan National Forest area to give you the views and the challenging trails you want to enjoy. Enjoy the Alpine-themed hotels that are nearby to give you a great place to stay when its time for some adventures on the hills and trails in the park.

Ocala National Forest –Florida

The Ocala National Forest might not challenge your off-road skills like the mountain areas, but you’ll find beautiful views, more than 500 natural lakes and ponds, and lots of great hiking trails. Bring your kayaks, canoes, tents, and ATVs to this location and have a great time when you spend a few nights camping and hiking in the Ocala National Forest.
