EV Dodge Muscle Car to Arrive in 2024

Dodge EV cars

If you are looking for classic Dodge performance but with an electric vehicle base, then you are in luck. Dodge has announced that they will be releasing an electric vehicle in 2024. In true Dodge fashion, this model will be a muscle car.

Driving the Future

The new Dodge EV will offer the best of both worlds. The company will use a Stellantis platform. This well-established base will offer up to 500 miles of range on a charge. And you can bet the performance will be in line with a traditional Dodge. Check with your local Dodge Dealership for more information. But the vehicle will be a Dodge muscle car and offer the driving experience the world has come to expect.

Coupe or Sedan?

Dodge has not given many details on this new EV yet. It is still unclear whether this new vehicle will be a two-door Challenger or a four-door Charger. It is clear that no matter what the model, this electrified muscle car will be exciting to drive and in line with previous models of both of these cars.

Whether you prefer a two-door or a four-door, both these models offer excellent driving ability and a spacious interior. Traditionally, the Charger provides more interior space, but the  Dodge Challenger is a comfortable ride, as well.

A Nod to the Past

The only image Dodge has released of this new electric muscle car is the Fratzog logo. This triangular logo was used primarily in the 1960s to 1970s on the grille of many models. With this imagery, Dodge is harkening to the past while looking to the future.

Dodge is attempting to usher in a new era of driving. Dodge muscle cars ruled the roads in the past. With these new electric models, they are hoping to do the same in the future.

Going the Distance

Dodge’s parent company, Stellantis, is behind this new EV. There are already four well-established electric vehicle platforms. Three of these platforms are unibody constructions. Stellantis is driving the future of innovation with these bases as the three unibody versions offer between 300 and 500 miles of driving per charge. It is expected the new Dodge EV will utilize the large platform, which provides up to 500 miles of range.

The Future is Coming

Over the past decades, more and more companies are releasing electric vehicles. These cars attempt to combine the reliability of a traditional car with the technology of the future. While no two electric cars are the same, many offer a similar experience. Dodge is hoping to explode the scene with a fun-to-drive electrified muscle car.

Unfortunately, driving enthusiasts will have to wait a few more years to drive this new electric vehicle. Drivers can expect the power and performance of a Dodge muscle car with the innovation of the future. While we do not have all the information yet, we can be certain the drive will be fun and the wait will be worth it.
