Gorgeous Cars According to a True Expert

11.28.16 - Pagani Huayra

The creator of the Pagani Zonda and the succeeding Huayra, CEO and founder Horacio Pagani shared his thoughts about what the most beautiful cars ever made have been. There’s no doubting the credentials of Mr. Pagani as his boutique car company has produced the most desirable and elegantly styled hypercars ever created on the market. It’s easy to see he has a soft spot for one particular variety of cars, but as you can see most of what he considers the most beautiful cars ever made have found their way to being some of the inspiration for his vehicles.

Jaguar E-Type – Here’s a car that was brought to the market in 1961 and offered us a ride of exquisite elegance and amazing looks. Powered by a 3.8-liter inline six-cylinder engine under the long hood this car could make 265 horsepower and offer a fantastic feeling when you drove it. This car has influenced many designers over the years and certainly is a car most can agree with making this list.

Lamborghini Miura – here is a car that first came on the scene fifty years ago as one of the most impressive speedsters of the time. Just looking at the Miura shows you the curves and lines that we see in Pagani vehicles. This is a car that was built before Lamborghini went to the wedge shaped design that shows off with hard corners and sharp angles. This car should top nearly everyone’s list not just the list of an expert in the world of supercars.

Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing – Another classic beauty the 300SL is one car that showed off the absolute best Mercedes-Benz has to offer. This was the fastest production car at the time with a top speed of 160 mph from the 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that used direct injection to give this car the power it needed. Here we see the gullwing doors that were the inspiration for the Pagani models as well.

De Tomaso Pantera – This was a car that used classic Italian styling on the outside but pure American V8 muscle under the hood. This combination is one that would put a smile on anyone’s face that stepped in behind the wheel of the car. This is a car that showed off the wedge design in a way that was seriously impressive and a great choice for a list of amazing cars.

Lamborghini Countach – This was one of the wildest creations to ever be made and shows the movement of Lamborghini toward the use of the wedge design to cut air and keep a car planted on the road or track. This is a car that shouted obscenities on the way to victory, one of which was the use of a V12 engine in the 1970s, which was about when the oil embargo began and gas prices soared, but this car was one that didn’t care and certainly is a fan favorite to agree with Mr. Pagani on the beauty of this car.
