Mercedes-Benz V-Class e Van

Mercedes- Benz has been no stranger to making a van and already has one of the best commercial vans on the market today. The V-class of vans has already been on the market in Europe for a few months. The newness of this van comes in the form of the e which is a plug-in hybrid alternative to the V-class van, giving owners a much more eco-friendly vehicle that offers plenty of fuel efficiency and makes for quite a bit of savings, which can be the goal for many families who drive the V-class vans.

The goal of Mercedes-Benz for the V-Class is to offer a van that has more features than any other minivan on the market. This van is so full of luxury features, those who would normally look to the Maybach S-Class have been seen considering this van over the Maybach because it offers a different driving feeling along with a higher ride along with all the luxury equipment they want their people carriers to be equipped with.

In an effort to stay out in front of the other manufacturers, Mercedes-Benz offers the V-ision e Concept vehicle which is the hybrid model of the V-Class. This model of the van has yet to be tested and fully approved for production as the technology and results have not been completely brought to light. Once Mercedes-Benz is sure this version of the V-Class will be priced right and enjoyed by plenty of buyers around the European markets, they will have this new model head out to market ready to take on any buyers who would love to have the first hybrid powertrain minivan in the world, which by the way, is simply using the hybrid system that is found in the smaller C-class sedans, go figure.

Once the hybrid system is in place, the van actually creates approximately 333 horsepower and 443 lb.-ft. of torque, which is awesome for a minivan and will make this one enjoyable ride from any vantage point. Crazy as it may sound, this van can reach sixty mph in under 6.1 seconds, a time that will give many older Porsche and BMW models a run for their money.

Speaking of luxury and interior features, the V-Class looks a lot like a first class airplane seat from the inside. This space is meant to carry only four passengers to any destination and if you can think of a feature that you want in a van, the V-Class offers it for you to easily enjoy it.

With a comfortable and powerful ride the V-Class minivan is one that gives the upper income bracket a luxury van that makes more sense than some of the chauffer driven vehicles Mercedes- Benz offers. The posh seating arrangement and high class luxury along with the comfort make for an awesome van. The next step and certainly not to be a concept for long is the V-ision e with its hybrid powertrain that makes it one of the best performing minivans on the planet and gives other automakers a bar and standard to work toward in order to bring hybrid powertrains to minivans across the segment.
