Recently, the Hyundai team pull the cover off a new SUV at the 2018 Busan Motor Show to give us a look at a concept model that will likely offer the inspiration for some of the future large SUV models from this brand. These new concept SUV models included the HDC-2 and HDC-1.  The HDC-2 Grandmaster SUV concept that is to be used to preview the future design direction for the larger SUV models that will be offered for us to enjoy driving. This new unveiling follows the HDC-1 Le Fil Rogue Concept that was shown off with a large grill up front and swoopy style lines to give us an attractive SUV to look forward to.

In the past Hyundai has delivered some of our favorite large SUVs like the Santa Fe, and small SUVs like the Hyundai Tucson on the market, so we can look on to the future with confidence in this brand.  Now that we’ve seen these two concepts and have an idea of what they will offer when it’s time to drive, we have a better idea of what the large Hyundai SUV models may look like in the future. Right now, Hyundai doesn’t have a true full-size SUV in the market to make sure we can have a great drive and experience the ride you want when you head out for a drive with your family inside and the qualities you want in the vehicle you love.

Getting Ready for Larger Hyundai SUV Models

The new blueprint that will be offered for the HDC-2 model will give the Hyundai team a build that will let them enjoy looking to this model for the inspiration and the design that might be right for them to build in the future. This model is a huge step forward for the future of the Hyundai appearance and structure that we’re sure to experience for the drive. Over the past few years, the Hyundai brand has been adding more to the driving qualities we want on the road.
Right now we don’t have many details at all for what the new HDC-2 Concept will be if it ever comes to be a production model it might be one that’s built at a size to take on some of the largest models on the market today. While that might not be the direction we’ll see this concept go, it’s certainly one that can become an SUV that should bring about more models that we can admire and experience when it’s time to head out on the road and show off what Hyundai has built for the ride.
Right now, we’re awaiting the release of the next model that will come from the Hyundai and Kia brands that tend to work together to bring us the vehicles we love. The next big model we’ll see this year is the Kia Telluride, but there’s expected to be a large Hyundai SUV offered in 2020. Whether this will be the HDC-2 that wears the name Grandmaster or it’s a model that carries a different build and the qualities offered by the HDC-1 concept is still yet to be seen, but you can bet it will be an amazing model for us to admire and drive.
