Nissan Maxima – A Favorite has been Revised

Nissan Maxima - A Favorite has been Revised

For many years, the sporty sedan that bears the Nissan name has been the Maxima.  This car is desired in the US, but almost didn’t make it.

It wasn’t more than a few years ago that the Nissan Maxima was under consideration to be axed from the Nissan lineup, but with some amazing sales techniques and the passion of the team in the US, Nissan kept this sporty sedan around for our enjoyment.

A car that almost didn’t make it on the American automotive market, but has been one of our favorites for a long time, has been upgraded to offer a new look and bring in a few updates. We’re certainly thankful they did whenever we take a ride in this car and experience what it has to offer.

A Full Look is on the Way

The updates offered for the Nissan Maxima will be on display in the latter part of November, just ahead of the December sales timeframe. This new Maxima will make its way to the Los Angeles Auto Show to let us see what the updates are and how it can be the right vehicle to drive. If you’re looking for a great full-size sedan that has the power you want to experience on the road, this car certainly brings the power and the precision you want to enjoy.

The New Look of the Nissan Maxima

Up front, we will see that the new Maxima offers a revised front end and the rear is believed to have received a bit of a nip and a tuck as well. This new appearance will capture your attention and remind you that this sedan wants to be taken out on the road and enjoyed as a car that brings the fun and experience you’re looking for when you drive. If you’ve been looking for a car that’s capable of exciting you during your drive, this is the car that can give you what you’re after.

New Features Offered in the Nissan Maxima

This new model of the Maxima will be offered with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology suite of advanced features. This package offers you the benefits of the qualities you’re looking for. The Maxima already brings you forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking as standard features across all trim levels. With this new package of items, six more driver assistance and safety features will be added to the mix to make sure you can stay safe and secure on the road when you take your new Maxima out for a great drive.

The Powertrains Remain the Same

We don’t expect to see much of a shakeup when it comes to the powertrains offered. We will still see the 2.5-liter four-cylinder model and the 3.5-liter V6 engine both offered for the power you’re looking for. The CVT automatic transmission will likely make a return as well although there might be some small changes to improve the fuel mileage offered. This car is one that we love to drive and will discuss in more detail once the LA Auto Show arrives and we see this beauty cross the stage ahead of the sales date.
