The Chevrolet Trax Becomes the Next Entry for the Small Crossover Segment for 2015

Having experienced significant success in Mexico and Canada since 2012, Chevrolet is ready to release the Trax to the US to let it compete in the small crossover SUV market that has boomed to major proportions in recent years.  As a fully equipped vehicle full of great Chevrolet features such as On Star 4GLTE, Siri Eyes Free and having a built in Wi-Fi hotspot the Trax appears ready to prove it is a major player in this market and should be extremely popular with the younger tech savvy generations.

The Trax is set to be offered in three trim levels, LS, LT and LTZ allowing shoppers to have a choice of equipment and pricing that will suit their needs.  Many signature Chevrolet elements are present on the Trax to ensure there is no mistaking this cool little SUV is certainly one of the bow tie brands.  These elements include such features as a dual-port grill, a very prominent bow tie emblem, swept back headlights, fog lights, simulated front and rear skid plates and vertical taillights.  The Trax is available in ten exterior colors to really allow each owner the ability to make their Trax fit their personality.

The power for the Trax comes from a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that offers up to 138 horsepower and 148 lb.-ft. of torque.  This engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that helps to offer much better than average fuel efficiency for drivers to stay on the road longer enjoying the ride.  The Trax benefits from the advanced suspension and steering offered by Chevrolet as well as being a small and light vehicle it can handle almost any canyon road or maneuver easily on city streets.
