When you think of some of the items we love in America, the traditional things that makes up what we feel comfortable with may include apple pie, baseball, and the Jeep Wrangler. As a vehicle that proudly wears the look that was developed in the 1940s to make it one of the models on the battlefields that was used by the US Army and is now one of the most sought-after recreational models on the market, the Wrangler is certainly something fun to drive.
Here are some items the new Wrangler offers that you should know about:

Looks Like a Wrangler

You won’t look at the new version of the Jeep Wrangler and thin its anything else. This impressive SUV is one that allows you to have the look and feeling you want that will be fun for you on the trails. There are a few changes to give you better aerodynamics and the performance you want, but you’ll know this is the Wrangler when you see it.

The Wrangler has Lost Weight

Even though you won’t feel you’re going to break this SUV when you take it out on the trails, it has lost as much as 200 pounds. This was achieved by creating items made out of aluminum including the engine mounts, steering gear, doors, hinges, hood, fenders, and the windshield frame. The rear swing-gate is made of magnesium (another lightweight metal) and the track and stabilizer bars are lighter because they are hollow.

More Engines in the Wrangler

In the past, there was only one engine you could use in the Wrangler. This is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 which is still offered to give you 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. The new offering is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder model that makes 270 ponies and 295 lb.-ft. of torque and a new diesel is scheduled to be added soon.

An Upgraded Wrangler Interior

When you step inside the new Jeep Wrangler, you’re going to see an interior that’s amazing to enjoy with all the qualities you want when you head out on the road. The seats are more comfortable than in the past and the features are certainly modern, but you can still enjoy the rugged feel of the Jeep when you drive.

Excellent Tech in the Jeep Wrangler

For the 2018 model year, the Jeep Wrangler offers you three different versions of the Uconnect system that’s offered with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and navigation system. This is one of the easiest to use and most responsive systems on the market to make sure you can have the connectivity and engagement you want when you drive.

The Wrangler is What You Want on the Trails

Even with the number of upgrades and changes that have been made to the new Wrangler, you’ll see an SUV that’s built to be a beast on the trails. This brute is an off-road machine that has the Dana 44 life axles in the front and rear, a disconnecting stabilizer bar, and much more to give you the capability you need in the wilderness.

You’ll Find Refinement in the New Jeep Wrangler

Older Wrangler models were mired with a rough ride on the roads, but the new one is offered with a smoother, quieter, and more comfortable drive when you have to ride on the pavement. You’re going to feel this is an SUV you can use every day and not just save it for the weekends of fun you’re looking forward to on the trails.

The Wrangler has Lots of Power

Even though there are SUVs that have more power and other models that can give you bigger numbers, the way the Wrangler delivers the power to the wheels the way you need it to is simply amazing. You’ll be glad to have the performance and impressive ride you want when you head out on the trails in this brute of an SUV.

Was the Wrangler Tested?

How does four million miles of testing sound to you? The new Jeep Wrangler was tested at local Jeep dealers everywhere, from Arizona to Alaska and from Italy to India. This is an excellent SUV that will ensure you have the ride you want and bring you the qualities you’re looking for when you drive and have the fun you want on and off the road.
