What Will 2016 Have to Offer?

2016 BMW i8

We can look at a new year as a fresh beginning.  We turn our incomes back to zero and see what we can pocket for the year, we make resolutions with the honest intent of keeping them and we feel like it’s time to begin again.  For the automotive world the new year often begins in the fall of the previous year, as long as the models are ready to launch, and we see some of the new offerings brought to us each year between the end of Summer and Thanksgiving.  With that in mind, here is our third installment in this series to show you what you will see at dealers this fall.

BMW 4 SeriesThe 4 Series is the sporty big brother to the ever popular 3 Series.  This car comes in as a coupe, convertible or hatchback and offers a great look and feel with a larger build than its smaller sibling.  The upgrade to a 440i from the 435i offers a more powerful engine to power the higher lineup of this great car.

BMW 5 SeriesThis sedan and hatchback car is a more serious offering than the sporty 4 Series.  There are several engines to choose from with the 5 Series in order to give you the power you want starting with a four-cylinder  on up to a V8 and even a hybrid engine.  The M5 which is the sport model adds a Competition Package, 15 horsepower and a firmer suspension for better driving.

BMW 6 SeriesIf the 3 Series is the most popular due to its affordability, the 6 Series is second for the opposite reason.  Those shopping the six digit price range turn to the 6 Series for an athletic, dynamic and aggressive ride in a car that speaks success to them.  This car can be had in a coupe, convertible or sedan to fit your needs very easily.

BMW 7 SeriesOnly offered as a sedan, the 7 Series is the height of luxury for the BMW lineup.  This beauty dropped weight from previous years and added much more tech.  Offered only the long wheelbase the 7 Series offers a lot to enjoy including a plug-in hybrid, the iDrive system, reclining  rear seats and massaging modes for the front and rear seats.

BMW i3The i3 is as much of a project car as anything else as BMW continues to gauge the market for this little hatchback to see what the reaction is.  This is a technology laden hybrid car with a gas powered two-cylinder range extender.  If you want a city car that offers some BMW luxury, this is a great choice and will certainly be fun for you to drive.

BMW i8 At the complete opposite end of the hybrid powertrains from the i3 the i8 shows up with advanced technology and a massive amount of sporty features.  The turbocharged engine plus the electric motors make up to 357 horsepower which can rocket this car down the road making full use of the BMW handling found underneath.

BMW Z4This is the ultimate symbol for not changing something that works well.  As an affordable sports car the Z4 convertible roadster offers three engines to take this car down the road and active steering and suspension to make the ride well worth any price you have to pay.  The surprise may be that that starting price is only $50,245.

Buick CascadaThis is an all-new convertible offering from Buick.  When was the last time you saw a convertible Buick?  In an effort to be a younger generation brand Buick now brings us a car that will not only look great but perform well and give you some Buick comfort features.  With a base price of $32,000 the Cascasa is sure to please a lot of buyers this fall.

Buick LaCrosseThe LaCrosse received only minor changes for 2016, but that’s no real surprise as this car is already a great car to drive.  Featuring beautiful lines and a comfortable feature laden interior the LaCrosse has changed the mind of many Buick shoppers who thought the brand was getting stale.  this car is to be redesigned soon, but you can enjoy the current version in a new 2016 model.

Buick RegalThe Regal is really one of the longest Buick names that has survived over the years.  This is also a car that simply has not been changed much from its previous model year, but is certainly a model that we have all enjoyed in one form or another.  With a base price of $28,500 the Regal is an affordable premium model sedan for you to feel pampered in during your drive.

Looking at a few models from BMW and Buick you can certainly be excited by the wonderful features and focus by both brands on the driver and their experience.  Whichever model is the right one for you, there are plenty of great choices out there so you can be sure the car you want to drive is the one you choose and bring on home.
